How it Began

I got my first instamatic camera when I was thirteen and have been photographing mountains, wildflowers and wildlife ever since.  Two years ago I began to experiment with my landscape photography creating a sense of heightened reality to my photographs and turning them into digital art.

Today my art is inspired by my travels in the desert southwest and Rocky Mountain states. The San Juan Mountains hold a special place in my heart, and it is here that I escape off the beaten track on old mining roads that wind their way through high alpine pastures and over rugged mountain tops. Not for the faint hearted!

Over the winter months I work with my photographs to turn them into digital art.
