Wildflowers and wildlife in alpine mountains and southwest deserts have been a passion of mine for over 30 years. I take my original photographs and create wonderful abstract images infused with the moment the photogrpahs were captured.
In the fall of 2019 I spent an amazing 8 weeks in the Bay area attending a compassion cultivation training course at Stanford. I took the opportunity to explore and photograph the surrounding area, including a wonderful week camped in Yosemite at Upper Pines beneath Glacier Point. A week later winter arrived with the first snowfall, but I was able to enjoy four warm autumnal days in the valley. As the summer fades here in New Mexico I turned my attention once more to creating art with some of my photographs from this trip last year.
